Kátia Aveiro reveals the diet she used to lose weight; find out!

Kátia Aveiro, Cristiano Ronaldo's older sister, attracted a lot of attention on social media and open TV when she participated in the program Two at 10 , from TVI, one of the main Portuguese television stations.

On the program, Kátia, who is a singer and businesswoman, surprised the presenters by revealing that she lost 27 kg after changing her lifestyle considerably.

Reason for change

According to the singer, at the beginning of 2024, she received a visit from some family members at her residence in Brazil and, as is quite common, she and her cousins decided to record a video to mark the moment of the reunion.

In the video in question, they had fun in a jacuzzi in swimwear and danced a lot, but later, when Kátia watched the video, she didn't like the way her body looked at all. “I looked and said: ‘I’m not this person’”, said Kátia during the interview with the program Dois at 10.

She also reported that the weight loss was motivated by aesthetics, but also for the benefit of her health, mainly. From then on, she said she initially didn't know what to do, so she took a drastic step and started fasting for a long time. And, although during this period she lost a lot of weight, this was also one of the most complicated phases of her life.

Because of this, she states that she decided to seek medical help to check her health. Thus, he adopted a healthier diet, which guaranteed good results not only physically, but also for his mental health.

Kátia also reports that, although the process was not easy, at no point did she think about giving up on her weight loss journey, mainly because she has always been a very determined and confident person.

“In a space of three months, there was a general change, in my head (mental state) and also in my health, which made me continue and become excited”, reported Kátia.

“Secret diet”

According to Kátia, one of the great “secrets” of her diet was to stop consuming foods rich in gluten and lactose, since, according to the singer, this type of food is responsible for inflaming our body, leaving us looking more bloated.

She also reports that her diet remains extremely diverse and she consumes meat, fruits, vegetables, salads and yogurt, without major restrictions.

Furthermore, she began to do physical activities frequently, which also contributed greatly to losing 27 kg and to her new healthier lifestyle.

On social media, Kátia has also said that, in addition to changing her diet and integrating physical activities into her daily life, she has been meditating and surrounding herself with examples that motivate her.

With this, she suggests that people should value the simple things in life, which are generally not material, but which we can feel. "What we need is food that we don't touch, that we don't see, but that we feel. So, I feed myself daily with motivation, that I don't see, but that I feel", said the singer.

Support from Cristiano Ronaldo

According to Kátia, her brother, Cristiano Ronaldo, helped her a lot in her weight loss process and advised her to go on a diet instead of undergoing any type of surgical procedure.

As she reports, the football player argued that, if she resorted to weight loss surgery and maintained bad eating habits, she would probably regain the lost weight later.

This, considering Kátia's history, who had previously resorted to liposuction and always ended up going back to “square one”, as she herself highlights in the interview.
