Perhaps one of the most scary dreams is the one in which you will die. These nightmares can often be so lively that you might even think that you are really dead. But dying in your dreams is generally not literal.

We often have this nightmare when we are faced with a major life transition. "The dreams of dying are a place to treat that changes and releases some of the unresolved thoughts and feelings," said Socvec.

"While death is the end of life, for the dreamy spirit, it is the end of life as you know now or the end of a phase of life," adds Loewenberg.

"Changes and ends in our lives often appear as death in a dream because our subconscious helps us to understand the purpose so that we can more effectively abandon what is no longer viable for us," she shares .

Snakes in your dreams could look like a very bad sign, but these reptiles actually symbolize healing. Remember that two winged snakes wrapped around staff are the symbol of doctors, ambulances, hospitals and pharmacies.

"Thus, the serpent associated with healing is deeply rooted in our psyche and the bite of a snake in a dream is often symbolic of a healing injection," explains Loewenberg.

A common way for this is that the snake in your dream represents a toxic person with which your subconscious tells you to stay away. If the snake bites you, it could mean that you heal a physical or emotional injury. AE0FCC31AE342FD3A1346EBB1F342FCB

It turns out that the dreams of apocalypse have less to do with planet earth and more to do with your own personal world.

Similar to the dreams you die, the dreams where the world ends means that you are under an enormous transition. Loewenberg says that career change or move to another state is two examples.

"With this dream, change does not just concern you but also involves your environment," she explains.

The dreams where a loved one dies can be the most heartbreaking, and even making you cry in your sleep. But again, it is a nightmare that means change.

"If you get this dream, the first thing to ask you is whether the person you dreamed of changes any way. Or your relationship with them undergoes changes? Or maybe the way You see them has changed, "advises Loewenberg.

These dreams can also be your subconscious telling you that you are not completely satisfied with your relationship with this person, underlines Socuke.

If you are a parent, you might dream that your child is dead. But Loewenberg says that this is generally linked to great milestones such as when they learn to walk, start school or university, or learn to drive.

"Each milestone can look like a little death, the end of this phase of your child's life," she explains. "These dreams allow us to cry each phase that ends and appreciate the more independent child who emerges."
