Bath & Body Works is committed to remaining ecological.
Several large companies have decided to "go green" and make an effort to alleviate their impact on the environment and natural resources. Bath & Body Works is no exception, and on its website, the company describes its "Environmental responsibility. ""
The declaration says that Bath & Body Works believes "to do what is right in our industry, our community and our world," mainly by "leading our business in an environmentally friendly". The company also quotes the desire to reduce its carbon footprint using more recycled materials, while reusing materials when possible.
But in the light of a recent video on social networks, some buyers question the authenticity of this declaration.
A Tiktok video suggests that the company may not remain faithful to its word.
Despite their web page efforts to stay respectful of the environment, a social media user says the opposite. A video of November 4 published by Jennifer, a tiktker using the @eldestmillenial handle, shows what seems to be afull garbage dump Unused bath and body provisions bags.AE0FCC31AE342FD3A1346EBB1F342FCB
"By far, I thought I saw a bag here, and it's - they are all Bath & Body Works bags. It's all the dumpster, from top to bottom," says Jennifer in the video, who has accumulated nearly 850,000 views and 126,000 likes.
She also notes that the bags are not in an designated recycling tank. In the legend of the video, she added: "I am short of words on waste."

Commentators quickly expressed their disdain.
Jennifer continues by deducting that the bags were thrown away due to the next holiday season - when the retailer generally goes to festive provisions bags.
"It is because of Christmas. It is because they go to the Christmas bags," she said, going around the dumpster to show more bags stacked in the back. "This is the most waxed thing I have ever seen. Can't you save them before Christmas?"
She also calls Bath & Body works to "do better", with a lot in the comments echoing her feelings, marking the tiktok account of the retailer to demand an explanation.
"@BathandbodyWorks huh, we have not somewhere to store them? Or even recycle them or reuse them as the bag suggest," wrote a commentator, pointing to the recycling logo at the bottom of the provisions bags. Another said that "these companies do not care about the environment, they always take advantage so that they do not care".
Former employees of Bath & Body Works have come.
Jennifer notes that she does not know if the decision "came from the company", what an ex-room and the director of work of the body could be the case, because the biggest company "is ruthless with regard to concerns efficiency ".
"They have no space for bags when they receive more than 300 shipping boxes 2-3 times a week until Christmas," wrote the ex-employee. "Please do not be angry with staff or store management. These decisions are made from above and they cannot help it."
Despite this, buyers added that the video made them "reconsider shopping" at Bath & Body Works, while others said they had already stopped buying in these stores. "More expensive and they are incredibly useless. So bad!" A comment bed.
But although the video is a little shocking, similar practices are not new - at least, not according to the former employees of the comments section. "I worked @bath & body works at university. They made us empty a product before throwing it. My manager also cut $ 100 in dresses," wrote an ex-associate.

It seems that practices vary from one store to another.
Other ex-employees said that the stores in which they worked were not useless and had saved the generic bags, noting that this could be an isolated incident.
"Yeah, this is definitely this specific store," wrote a former partner. "I have worked for BBW for years and we would always save our" Core "bags because the holiday bags are still running." A separate commentator said something similar, writing: "I work at BBW ... We keep ours during the Christmas period."
No matter why the bags were thrown away, the Tiktors quickly triggered suggestions for what could have been done with them instead. Some have recommended to use them for gifts, while others asked that the bags be given to local thrills, churches or the Salvation Army.
This approach, however, was challenged by the same ex-employee who affirmed that decisions like these were sent by companies. "I worked BBW Management for 3 years. They cannot give bags because PPL would go, fill the bags and make declarations of non-reception," they wrote.
Better life contacted Bath & Body Works to comment, but has not yet heard.
