How to do it

  1. Cook the bacon in a large medium heat pan until brown and crisp, about 5 minutes. Remove and book.
  2. Add the whites of green onions and pepper and cook until vegetables soften, about 3 minutes, then add corn grains and Lima.
  3. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring, until corn is slightly grilled.
  4. Turn down the low heat, season vegetables with salt and pepper, then add half-half.
  5. Simmer slowly until most of the liquid has evaporated and coats vegetables, about 3 minutes.
  6. Stir in bacon leaves and green onions.
