In a June 19 Reddit Post , the @Stranger_Dangus user went to R / Costco Subdreddit to share his recent frustrations with the self-gray process. The user said that even if workers have told them for weeks to use the portable scanner to help get things done more quickly, they were then criticized for doing this two days ago.

"Today, I entered and I had about seven articles, several being bigger items. I used the hand scanner and I went to my last two articles (steaks) and a lady approached me By saying that I have to use the real table scanner for my steaks, "they wrote. The user of Reddit @Stranger_Dangus made his feelings very clear about the test, drawing his message in R / Costco: "Self-treatment has become horrible."
