The two T.J. Maxx and Marshalls are excellent options for furniture, and you will find an even wider variety in domestic agents and HomeSense focused on the house. But if you bought a hung chair in Novogratz outdoor metal for your terrace this summer, it could actually be dangerous. On September 1, the CPSC announced that TJX companies recalled the chairs due to aDanger of potential safety.

The recalled chairs were not cheap, selling between $ 300 and $ 330. About 5,000 were sold nationally between March 2021 and May 2022, in addition to around 194 sold in Canada. The chairs have been sold in Homegoods and HomeSense stores, as well as at Homegoods / T.J. Maxx and HomeGoods / Marshalls combination stores.

Like the previously recalled nest swing egg chairs - which have a similar design - the hanging chairs in outdoor metal have been recalled due to their peak or fall potential. However, there is an additional risk with the Novogratz brand chair, however, according to CPSC review. The chair's seat is suspended using a metal hook and a chain, which could break and drop someone in sitting.

Until now, 22 reports of chairs are falling or tilting, or the hook or the breaking of the chain, depending on the notice of recall. In 16 of these cases, consumers also reported injuries ranging from bruises to a slight concussion.

You should stop using the chair if you have one.
