But if you visited your local bed bath and beyond this spring, you will want to pay attention to a recently issued warning. If you shop at Bed Bath and beyond before celebrating Easter holidays, you may have bought items for the festivities. The hunt for Easter baskets is a darling tradition, but if you buy this particular basket to hide or collect Easter eggs, the CPSC has a warning for you. On April 28, it was announced that Bed Bath & Beyond recalled around 960 hours for the happy brandWoven rabbit baskets, which were sold exclusively to the retailer in March 2022.

While the baskets have a friendly face, rabbit eyes can detach themselves, creating a risk of suffocation for children, said the CPSC.

The baskets have listed a warning on the label.

The white woven baskets had rabbit faces and came with pink or blue cheeks, said the CPSC. They were also decorated with a label that said "Happy Easter", and a hangover that said "! Warning: it is not a toy, for decorative purposes only".

Although no injury has been reported to date, the agency still recommends keeping the baskets away from children.

If you bought this basket, those responsible advise you to get rid of it.

Due to the risk of suffocation, the CPSC asked consumers to return the basket to any bed bath and beyond the location. From there, you will receive a full refund.

If you have specific concerns, you can reach the bed bath and beyond directly at 800-462-3966, seven days a week, between 7 a.m. and 12 p.m. HNE. The CPSC also advises to visit the retailerrecall page, which lists an e-mail address, [email protected], and links to additional recall information. Before this publication, the baskets recalled had not yet been listed.

"Please keep in mind that even if we intend to keep this information up to date, it is not designed to be a list of all recalled products," said Bath Bath & Beyond Reminder, Pointing consumers to CPSC websites, the US Food and Drug Administration and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
