This represents not only a broader selection, but also better health. As a general rule, the vegetarians had to choose a dish loaded with carbohydrates like pasta as a meal in flight - if they were even lucky enough to find such an available offer. The only other options were to pre-order a special meal before the flight - or the purchase of one at the airport before take-off for an additional expense.
