The best sandwich recipe in the world
Anyone who tells you that she has the best sandwich recipe in the world is probably led.
How can a person know if that sandwich is really "the best in the world", unless she tried to make all sandwiches under the sun? Well, guess what: I have.
In the last 24 months, I may literally make known every known sandwich. And I'm ready to reveal the best.
It started with a humble turkey and Switzerland I did for my boyfriend. He loved or at least he liked the fact that I would have done for him - so that he burst these shocking words: "darling, you are 300 sandwiches away from a wedding ring."
Perhaps preparing your way to a wedding ring is not exactly a feminist ideal, but I am also the type of woman who can not withstand a challenge. I was going to have this ring and I was going to do it by perfecting every known sandwich recipe.
For the next two years, I became the Queen Sandwich. Lobster rolls? Done 'em. Sandwiches with ice cream? Made of homemade ice cream! Muffuletas? AREPAS? Cursors? Oneos in the poorer with peanut butter and frost of French grilled bread, I became a generation of a woman's sandwich.
And then I found it. The best sandwich recipe in the world.
I did not know it was the best in the world at the beginning. In fact, I went to make 200 sandwiches before getting up on me that no matter the remarkable to my next concoction, it would never be limited to what I have since realized, it's the best sandwich recipe at world.
As for my quest for the ring? I had the recipes and I had the guy. We married in June. And thanks to my kitchen event, you can now win the heart of your partner without having to make 300 sandwiches.
With this recipe, you only need to do one.

2 tablespoons with thick seeded mustard

How to do it
- Cut the onion into thick slices and jump over medium heat with 2 tbsp. Butter for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Reduce the heat to low and continue to blow up caramelization (about 20 minutes more).
- While onions are cooking, rub the main side of both sides with a mix of rosemary, thyme and black pepper. Sprinkle with salt kosher.
- Heat a large nonstick skillet on average heat. Once the pan is hot, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and Seaar steaks on one side. Once the steaks are cooked halfway (about 2 minutes), return them and add 2 tablespoons of butter in the pan. Pulling the pan towards you slightly, use a spoon to lighten the mixture of butter and olive oil on the top of the steaks. Steaks are rarely cooked once the interior of the meat reaches about 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Let the meat rest for 10 minutes, then cut the thin, cutting the grain. Spread the butter remaining on the rolls and toast for about 4 minutes in an oven or toaster until the average night. Spread the mustard on both sides of the rollers.
- In a small bowl, gently mix the rocket in the remaining olive oil, salt and pepper to coat the leaves and place them at the bottom of the rollers. Divide steaks uniformly among sandwiches and at the top with caramelized onions. Finish with the upper half of the rollers.
