You will need
1 bag (16oz) onions frozen pearls
3/4 cup of water
White or red wine vinegar 3/4
1/4 cup of sugar
Pinch of red pepper flakes
Black salt and pepper
How to do it
- Combine onions, water, vinegar, sugar and pepper flakes in a medium saucepan.
- Place on medium-weak heat, lid and cooling for 10 minutes. Remove the lid and cook for another 10 minutes until the liquid has decreased and starts clinging to onions.
- Onions should be tender but do not fall apart. Season with salt and pepper.
