Why did not you still try the bone broth soup?

The broth rich in collagen is now the basis of a new range of soups of Pacific Foods.

Bone broth Received major buzzes lately and it is certainly for good reason. DietitianKatey Davidson, MSC, RD, explains that this special stock contains a good amount of calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, amino acids and many other nutrients.

Davidson also suggests that one of the best components of bone broth is its rich content of collagen, which can be beneficial for our articulation andcutaneous health. "Collagen is composed of different amino acids and is considered one of the most abundant proteins in humans," she says. Collagen consumption is also beneficial for our joints, it adds, especially since it is a lot of them.

In this spirit, it should be mentioned that the major brands of soup as Pacific Foods are definitively entered into the action of bone broth because the brand has recently published a line of organic bone broth which has horses. on old classics, such asFoods Pacific Foods Organic Chicken Noodles Soup with Chicken Bone Bouillon.

And unlike chicken noodle soup cans that are packed with ingredients without training and tons of sodium, Pacific foods retain simple things with organic ingredients and a relatively reasonable sodium content (430 mg). So, how do the Pacific foods continue from the chicken noodle soup of competitors like Progresso? We asked Davidson to weigh on this question below.

1 cup of serving: 100 calories, 1.5 g of fat (0 g saturated grease), 430 mg of sodium, 13 g carbohydrates (2 g of fiber, 2 g of sugar), 7 g protein

Compared to the Progreso's traditional chicken noodle soup, Davidson suggests that both products do not differ muchly nutritionally. However, it notes that this pacific food soup contains less sodium than the Progresso version. In addition, she says that there is slightly more iron, calcium and vitamin A in pacific food soup, which can probably be attributed to bone broth as well as fresh vegetables.

PROGRESO Traditional chicken noodle

Progresso chicken noodle soup

1 cup of serving: 110 calories, 2.5 g of grease (0.5 g of saturated grease), 690 mg of sodium, 14 g of carbohydrates (1 g of fiber, 1 g of sugar), 7 g protein

While Davidson explains that this progressive soup uses chicken broth, it notes that it is essentially bone broth. This is why the protein content is identical in the two soups, she says, with the fact that they also use chicken meat.

In conclusion, when it comes to these two products, Davidson tells us that they do not differ much because the chicken broth is always bone broth, technically. "If you had to compare this soup to a vegetable stock, you would notice a difference," she says.

Who being said, the new Foods Pacific line of the OSS drips are always a lower alternative to the sodium that contains the nourishing skincollagen! (This soup based on bone broth has 280 milligrams less sodium than pacific food chicken noodle soup.)
