"Healthy foods" with more sodium than fries
These healthy foods are, of course, quite salty.
One of the best things you can do for your heart is to reduce your daily lifesodium admission.
The most recent USDADietary guidelines for Americans suggests consuming more than 2,300 milligrams of sodium a day to helpprevention of hypertension and other health problems. However, theAmerican Heart Association Recommends that most adults have reduced their consumption up to 1,500 milligrams daily.
To offer a perspective how much any packaging is ready, even if it is considered healthy - can often pack a lot of sodium, we compared the sodium content of four healthy foods to that of McDonald's global fries. For the context, a small size contains 180 milligrams of sodium, the medium has 260 milligrams of sodium and large packets of 400 milligrams of sodium.

Pasta sauce
Pasta is not an unhealthy meal by no way. However, it should be noted that pasta sauce can be salty enough. For example, a 1/2 vessel of traditional Italian sauce prego contains480 milligrams of sodium, of course the amount that is in a large size of McDonald's French fries.
Cheese cheese
No shadow with moon cheese, but we consider it like a salt snack. Just a portion, or 14 pieces, friendly food contains350 milligrams of sodium. For a perspective, nearly 100 milligrams more sodium than is in McDonald fries of medium size.
Jerk beef
Whetherjerk beef Is considered a healthy snack or not is a polarizing conversation between health experts. Wherever you are, however, one thing is alone: the jerky beef is packed in sodium. It istransformed meat, after all! For example, 1 oz ofJack Links Teriyaki Beef Serky At 590 milligrams of sodium, nearly 200 milligrams more than what is a large size of McDonald fries fries.
