TV shows are the best, are not they? I mean, I have nothing against movies, but TV shows are with you any longer and you have more chance to cling to the characters, seeing them grow and change and evolve. You see them every week, if not every day, and you end up relating more with them. And good programs may be on TV for years, even decades - think of friends, barred at the ball, etc. What is even cooler is that while we grow up with these TV shows and their characters, the actors grow and some of them, we literally see them grow on the little screen. So let's take a ride on time and remember some of the Mirins stars that grew on the screen and how they have changed over the years.

1. Mila Kunis
Mila Kunis appeared at the age of 14 in that 70s show series. The creators of the program wanted the cast to have more than 18 years, so Mila lied and said she would be 18 years soon. When they discovered that she was only 14 years old, and that "soon" meant 4 years, Mila had already given her personal touch to the character Jackie Burkhart. That 70s show stood in the air for almost a decade, so we really managed to see Mila grow on the screen and she continues to have a great movie career.

2. Nolan Gould
Nolan was still a child when he obtained his first role in a commercial. He had his great chance at age 11 when he got the role of Luke Dunphy in the Modern Family series. He is 18 now and the program remains firm. Modern Family is not the only thing you can see Nolan, despite his age. It can also be seen in Space Buddies, Eleventh Hour and Sweet Nothing in My Ear.


3. Ariel Winter
While we are on the subject of Modern Family let's mention the other children in the series. Ariel Winter obtained the role of Alex Dunphy at age 11, as well as his colleague Nolan. She also started her rather young actress career, getting a role in a 4-year commercial. Now she's 19 years old, and no one could have hoped that nerd little girl became such a beautiful woman.

4. Sarah Hyland
Sarah was only 7 when she won a role in a movie called the king of the Bakery. This is a great achievement for someone so young. Since then, she had many small papers, but her great chance was obviously the role of Haley in Modern Family. She was 18 when she got the role, and even if her character was much younger, this was not a problem, because Sarah looked much younger than she really was. Now, this young woman is 26 years old and, in addition to the role of Modern Family, she was also seen in the movies in films like Xoxo, everyone in Panic 5, Vampire Academy and Struck by Lighting.


5. Aubrey Anderson-Emmons
We all know and worship Aubrey as Lily in Modern Family. Did you know she was only 4 years old when she first appeared on the show? She is 10 years old now and her character seems to be getting smarter every episode. She literally grew up on the set of Modern Family and look forward to seeing more her in the future, both in the series and in her future projects.

6. Rico Rodriguez
You probably know rich as Manny of Modern Family, the son of Gloria who is smarter than his mother and is the cutest gentleman who exists. Rich won this role when he was 11 and was his first serious role. Now he's 19 years old and you can not imagine anyone else like Manny, he's just perfect for the paper. He also wrote a book whose free translation is "Real Life Lessons ... So far", which is a very Manny thing to do, do not you think?


7. Jennie Garth
Jennie Garth was 18 when she won the role of Kelly Taylor in Barred Ball. The series was a success and many of us grow up watching. In fact, it was in the air for 10 years! Then Jennie was 28 years old last season. A decade in our TV screens playing a role in our favorite program for sure puts you on the list of stars that grew up on the screen.


8. Shannen Doherty
Shannen had his great chance as Brenda in Barrados at the ball. She was 19 when she won the role and her character her should be a high school of high school. It was never clear if it was for her to leave the series after four years because of age or because she had a reputation of being difficult to live. You can also meet her as Prue, Charmed series.

9. Alyssa Milano
Since we mention Charmed - let's talk about Alyssa Milano. While many people knew her from this series, this was not exactly the big role of her. She appeared for the first time on the screen when she had about 12 in an episode of Old Enough and then she won a role in Who's The Boss. She acted in many different series and films, and continues to have a successful career now 44 years old.


10. Kaley Cuoco
Most people know Kaley as Penny of The Big Bang Theory, and while this series is extremely successful and is in the air a decade ago, this was not first big role. She appeared in the series 8 Simple Rules as Bridget, when she was only 17 years old. What is funny is that her character was the oldest daughter of the family, but in real life she was 6 years younger than her sister on the screen.
