You can try to make your home elegant how much you want, but nothing will ever be as beautiful as the natural decor that create plants and flowers. And the florists have a privilege and a gift: they are able to organize what nature offers in different forms, thanks to their imagination.

Erin Benzakein manages a flower nursery called Floret Flowers in the Skagit Valley, in Washington. In 2001, Erin and her husband moved to Valley, about an hour's drive from Seattle, north. They were looking for a simpler and serene lifestyle in which to grow their children.

To tell the truth, Erin spent much of his childhood at the great-grandfather's house in the countryside, where she was born of her love for nature. So you decided to return to her origins of her together with her sons, as lots of people who live in town. There is always something magical in being surrounded by nature.

Before Floret became an educational farm first and a real company then, Erin started with a small garden at his back home. Then, people started asking to buy her flowers of her, even if she never planted them with the intention of selling them. When she sold the first bouquet, the customer cried from her joy because she had felt immerse her in the summer of her childhood.

Taking awareness of how a floral composition is able to generate such emotions and connect two people who had never seen before you pushed Erin to undertake this career. The following year, she replaced all her she cultivations of vegetables with flowers and did the same even with the orchard.

On their website, there are many practical guides and useful tips for flowers enthusiasts. They also have a massive international growers network, so that no matter where to live, thanks to them you can find beautiful flowers everywhere.

Despite dealing with giving life to dream atmospheres, Floret works with science and research. She spent hours and hours testing and experimenting to cultivate her flowers of her best, to have a certain length of the stem, a certain perfume and other qualities that make anyone feel like she was in the secret garden.

After the first book,A year in Flowers, which was a huge success according toNew York Times, and the second, A Year in Flowers: Designing Gorgeous Arrangements for Every Season, which includes splendid photographs and floral design techniques depending on the season, Erin is now working on a new third book dedicated to dahlias.

Now that we all know the fantastic story of transformation that is hiding behind this fabulous nursery, we can abandon ourselves to the magic of flowers and let us carry them into their almost surreal world.

These splendid pastel-colored zinnias have been cultivated with the aim of developing different varieties in many colors and shapes. And we can say that Erin is doing a great job!

Who wouldn't you like to wake up every morning with such a view? It is an area of dahlias reproduction, and these flowers are simply huge. The secret of their size? A good land and lots of love.

If you are not lovers of red roses, with these Honey dijon roses with roseous tones and caramel you will go. The name, color and perfect deployment of petals make these roses simply stunning. We wonder what their perfume is ...

The photos of the Benzakein are adorable, like this rainbow of sweet pea flowers, in a beautiful range of colors, from orange on to an adorable lavender. For our stay, could we apply for a wall of these flowers instead of the sad brick wallpaper in brick?

The zinnies are flowers that are easy to grow, but Erin wanted to cultivate varieties that were rare and demanding also for a professional farmer. And here are colors like butter, raspberry, chocolate, fishing and champagne cream. Colors that then we find in many of her bouquets.

Even if you are not lovers of yellow, it is impossible not to fall in love with this gold-colored bouquet or, as Erin says, "the first embrace of the season". That's how you feel if you could embrace the sun. Those small flowers from the orange heart are a real treasure, but we don't know how to tell you more. We leave the word to the real professionals of flowers.
