1. Drink carbonated drinks
Carbonated drinks are horrible for teeth. If you consume all day, they leave the sugar on the teeth continuously and can create cavities in the future. It is not a secret that sugar causes caries and carbonated drinks are composed of 90% sugar. Furthermore, the carbonated drinks lower the pH level in the mouth that can weaken the enamel and cause discoloration on the teeth.
2. Smoking
Smoking kills, we know. But it also causes deep spots on teeth, bad breath and can lead to cancer. So if you want a nice white smile of Hollywood we suggest you stop smoking if you do it again. Because no quantity of rubber or pill to mint you take after a cigarette will save you from long-term stains that smoke can cause over the years.
3. E-Cigarette and Svapo
Many people think I stopped smoking in the traditional way just because they are "svapando" - they are essentially deceived by the system thinking of keeping their breath fresh and teeth white color pearl while receiving their nicotine. It is not exactly true. So far, the long-term effects of the Svapo have not yet been studied. But the few studies that have been made show that the e-cigarettes and the Svapo kill cells in the mouth and can damage the gums causing a very negative effect on teeth. Better having nothing to do with nicotine in general.
4. Drink coffee and tea
Many people know that coffee can stain teeth, but we all think that tea is quite safe. Well, the black tea works exactly like coffee when it comes to teeth whiteness. Most of us have small cracks in the teeth enamel and when coffee or tea arrives there, it can create a stain. Are you thinking of going to green tea as a source of caffeine from now on?
5. drink wine
I always thought that a glass of wine at dinner was not bad but apparently, even wine can stain teeth. Especially if it's red wine. Some wines contain sugars and this is not exactly the best thing for your teeth. The new rule, therefore, is that a glass of white wine is fine but you don't have to exaggerate with red wine, sir.
6. Teeth grinding
Do you know how sometimes you get like hell and tighten your teeth in the effort to hold yourself from saying something rude or just to get anger out a little? Yes, this hurts tooth and can cause micro-cracks that will do with time they will make it get worse. The most annoying thing is that some of us squeeze the jaw in sleep without realizing it. You can be able to control the jaw when you're awake, but if you have a little suspicion of grinding your teeth at night, you can get a night tutor.
7. Eat sticky foods
If you like candy and other types of sweets we have a bad news for you. All sugars hurt your teeth and can cause cavities but the sugar that sticks is the worst because it stops between your teeth and you don't even know. Further, those food particles remain among the teeth and more damage do to enamel.
8. Lip piercing and language
Yes, it looks cool, we can't deny it but lip piercings are a bad thing for your teeth. Inevitably you will want to play with your piercing without even realizing it and this means that the metal will touch your teeth all day, every day. The results are quite horrible, first, it starts with micro-cracks and abrasions on teeth, then the teeth become super sensitive and in the worst case, with time, piercing can actually break a tooth.
