Fran Rivera and Lourdes Montes welcomed his third child in common: a baby named Nicolás. 5 years of attempts

In an exclusive interview with the magazine Hello! , Rivera and Montes said that they had practically thrown their towel in their desire to enlarge their family, because they had been trying to get pregnant and even some doctors had recommended Rivera to undergo surgery. "It is true that I have a small problem since I gave me a bull and opened a testicle," he explained. Therefore, when at the end of 2024 they learned that Montes was pregnant, a surprise was. An early scare

Although Montes's pregnancy had some complications for being over 40 years old, she said the birth was "beautiful. I lived the birth of Nicolás with enthusiasm." However, a few weeks after his arrival in the world, the baby had to be urgently admitted to the hospital again. The parents have not explained the reason, but they said it was a medical complication that could be treated and after a few days of hospitalization, it was discharged. This was the reason why Rivera could not be present at one of the most important moments of his brother Cayetano: his farewell of bullfighting in the bullring of Seville.

The youngest of three

The arrival of Nicolás has been a reason for joy for the whole Rivera Montes family. Curro and Carmen, their two other children with Fran, worship the baby. However, Carmen is a little mother: he wants to take care of him 24 hours. Who are these parents?

Francisco "Fran" Rivera is a famous bullfighter who retired in 2017 after several decades of successful career. He is part of a bullfighting dynasty to which his father, Francisco "Paquirri" Rivera also belong; His grandparents Antonio Rivera and Antonio Ordoñez, his brother Cayetano and several uncles and cousins. He is also second nephew of singer Miguel Bose. He was married between 1998 and 2002 with Eugenia Martínez de Irujo, Duchess of Montoro, daughter of the Duchess of Alba. For his part, Lourdes Montes is a lawyer from a renowned Seville family who left the laws to venture into the fashion design. Your love story

Montes and Rivera met at the April Fair of Seville in 2011, through a common friend. Although he was pledge of her since he saw her, the designer was in a relationship.
