Childhood in Slovakia

Andrej was born in Bratislava, a clerical family. His mother was the driver of the whole family. Andrej's father had made a living all his life by business and thanks to his foreign work activities Andrej had the opportunity to travel abroad, which he wanted. At home in Slovakia he graduated from the University of Economics. In Switzerland he learned French, and that is why he was sent as a delegate to Morocco at the age of 80, where he represented 15 foreign trade companies. The successful foreign event was reflected immediately after returning when Babiš became the director of the business group for the production of fertilizers.

First marriage

Andrei fell in love with his first wife at the grammar school. Student love grew into marriage, and his first wife became a classmate Beáta Adamovičová. Beáta became a doctor and Babiš gave birth to two children, daughter Adrian and son Andrej. Both children were involved in Agrofert, and they did not avoid the Stork's Nest case, which were even prosecuted. However, the accusation was subsequently downloaded.

Second fate

Babiš met his second wife, Monika on working matters when he visited his business partner, where Monika worked as a secretary. In the case of Andrej Babiš it was love at first sight. The beginnings of their relationship were not easy. At a time when the couple met for the first time, they were both assigned and found their way to each other after a long time. "I fell in love with Monika at the first meeting, it was a fateful meeting," the unsuccessful presidential candidate recalled later.

The fact that Andrej was twenty years older did not mind his future wife, was harder to carry her family, who disagreed with Monica's relationship with the former Prime Minister. Even the small town environment, from which Monika came to, condemned the relationship with a much older man. But the adversity of the relationship did not prevent and two children came out of the love of Monika and Andrej. In 2000, Monika gave birth to her daughter Vivien, and in 2007 her son Frederik.

It was precisely because of the children that Babiš's partner started to wear his surname, even though the wedding was not at that time. The beautiful blonde had to wait a few more years. The dream festivity took place only in 2017, when Babiš was already a very successful and rich man. At that time Monika stood by his side for an incredible 23 years. The couple said their YES on the Čapí Nest near Olbramovice and there was no shortage of romance at the wedding. The ceremony itself took place under the gazebo on the island in the middle of the pond. About 200 guests were present on the important day of Monika and Andrej. The bride was decorated with beautiful white dress from Israeli designer Galia Lahav and the crown with diamonds contributed to perfection. Diamonds also glittered Monica's wedding ring, while Babiš preferred a simple ring with engraving.

Everything ends once

Even so, we could define the current situation of the Babiš spouses. Although they are still officially their own, their joint journey was divided in April 2024. After 30 years of coexistence, former partners can act as two adults who continue to respect and get along well.
