One day, she walked around a neighborhood and autumn leaves were so massive and beautiful that she was inspired to collect and use them as canvases to paint.
Valeria likes the idea of reusing nature like art, because it considers it as a form of preservation and the provision of another chance of life.
The materials used are acrylics and ink on dry leaves, but they look like masterpieces that can be suspended in a gallery, if you ask ourselves! It's an impressive artist! This portrait of Artist Frieda Kahlo and her husband is so poignant.
We do not know why Valeria is so in Frieda, among his other paintings of more central choice of nature, but we love it! Maybe because Frieda also had an affinity for nature? Anyway, Frieda is a mega feminist girl and we have always descended to pay tribute, especially on a superb art of the leaf! She approved!
This moonlight is so haunted and we like the subtle shaded effect of blue, white and purple shades. Acrylics give the moon its rough and bumpy surface while keeping a very dreamy aesthetic. I would like a version of the size of life on our wall of the room to help us fall asleep at night.
We can almost imagine this little robin bird perched on this original leaf before it falls from the tree. Valeria gave him a beautiful branch to perch while considering life. For all the bird lovers of your life.
Who is Van Gogh? This representation of leaves is so great! His whirlpools are really on the point - Google the original and put it side by side with this one! Homegirl has a serious skill! It would be easy for that to feel kitschy, but it feels really authentic and charming.
