The famous Russian singer Alla Pugacheva in 2022 openly condemned the Russian war against Ukraine and, together with her husband, Maxim Galkin and the children, left her homeland. For a long time, the artist did not release new songs, but recently surprised fans at once with two releases in which she affected the topic of war.
Recently, Pugacheva released two Russian -speaking compositions “Mom” and “Kiss of War” on YouTube. Alla Borisovna herself was the author of the words of the first song. Interestingly, even in the released tracks, the singer never expressed her clear position.

And “mother” is a very personal work: Pugacheva wrote a text in the form of a dialogue between her mother with her dead son-soldier. Putin's fans decided that such a gesture, the singer expressed sympathy for the Russians. Of course, both songs can hardly be called “nonpatriotic”: if you focus only on the text, they could well become part of the repertoire of the odious shaman or Chicherin.
Nevertheless, some Z-patriots immediately expressed their dissatisfaction. Firstly, both compositions were not published on domestic music services, but on its official YouTube channel. As you know, access to this platform in Russia is limited. Secondly, they are sure that in this way Pugacheva is trying to return the attention of the Russian audience and previous income. “Baba Alla tramples the path back,” a similar comments poured a river under the released songs.
