Shekhar Suman started her journey in Bollywood with the 1984 film Utsav, in which Rekha was in the lead role. The film also had some intimate scenes between Shekhar and Rekha, which was very much discussed. Now Shekhar spoke on his experiences working with Rekha. He said that Rekha never showed tantrums during the intimate scene and did not stop them from touching them. Shekhar said that Rekha is an excellent actress and working with her was a wonderful experience.

Shekhar Suman is going to be seen on screen again after a long time. After working in the 2017 film 'Bhoomi' last year, he will now appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's drama series 'Hiramandi'. Recently, Shekhar was seen talking about Rekha during the promotion of the film. Shekhar said that he has worked with Rekha and is considered a very professional actress. When Rekha was on the set, there was a raid of income tax at her house. During this time, Rekha did something that Shekhar was also surprised.

Shekhar while talking to Siddharth Kanan said that a new artist never gets such a break. He told that he had signed the film in just 15 days and did not even open his suitcase, and in 2 months he was on the set, shooting with Rekha. Shekhar said that he would always be grateful to Shashi Kapoor, Girish Karnad and Rekha, as he gave him such an opportunity.

Shekhar said, I have never seen a talented actress like Rekha. I remember that on the first day of the shoot, income tax was raided at his house. Had there been any other actress, she would have left the work. But Rekha said that she will continue her shooting work.

Shekhar told that Rekha never showed tantrums during the shooting of the intimate scene. She never prevented her from touching himself, like the rest of the actresses. Shekhar described her as a professional actress.

Shekhar told that after the film festival he felt that his career would fly, but it did not happen. He said that he did many films after that and worked with many big actresses, but after a time, good roles stopped getting. In this situation, he decided to take one step back. However, he was upset about why his luck treated him like this.
