Ana Maria Brânza, famous for her world champion and European champion titles, seems to have completed the relationship with her husband, Pavel Popescu. It seems that the former athlete has decided to leave the conjugal domicile.

The two former lovers celebrated the marriage in August 2015, in Bușteni, in an intimate setting, along with family and friends. The civil ceremony took place outdoors, on the terrace of Cantacuzino Castle. Ana Maria Brânza was distinguished with the title of honorary citizen of the city of Bușteni, which is why she opted to organize her civil marriage in this mountain location.

During the 27 years dedicated to the fencing, Ana-Maria Brânza obtained two silver medals at the Olympic Games, in the individual test in Beijing and Tokyo, as well as a gold medal at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics. Its record also includes three medals at the World Championships and seven medals at the European Championships, either in individual competitions or in teams.

In 2015, Ana Maria Brânza and Pavel Popescu, who performs the position of second coach at the national women's polo team, united their destinies after about three years of relationship. For several years, both before and after marriage, the two were a discreet couple.

Later, the two former partners appeared together in a few images posted on the social media platforms, but these photos were deleted both from Ana Maria Brânza's personal account.

It seems that Ana Maria Brânza's husband performed a gesture that deeply affected it. The former athlete seems to have made the decision to leave the conjugal home. Soon, the two, the swordsman and the Polish, are scheduled to sign the divorce acts in front of the notary.
