1 Cleaning supplies
"The selection of cleaning supplies at Lowe's is not very large compared to grocery stores, so your choices will already be limited", explains Julie Ramhold , a consumption analyst with the Store comparison site Dealnews.com. "But even for the items that are there, prices are generally not excellent either. You usually end up paying more at LOWE for something like disinfectant wipes."
Alex Williams , Cfo of Retail purchasing guide Fincest Best, echoes the feeling: "Lowe's is known for its additional costs on cleaning products. So much so that you could end up paying 10% more than the real market rate."
2 House decoration
Ramhold says that interior decoration is another category to avoid during shopping at Lowe's. "The domiciliary renovation store is not really known for its interior decoration, and for a good reason-the selection is often very limited, without many styles to choose," she explains. "In addition, prices leave desire a lot: you can usually find better offers by shopping in places like T.J. Maxx or Homegoods." AE0FCC31AE342FD3A1346EBB1F342FCB

3 wall art
Real estate investor and Founder of Housecashin Marina Vaamonde Avoid buying wall art from LOWE because "there is a very limited selection of styles and prices are not worth it". She says that shops like Homegoods offer "a wider range of options and better offers".
4 Tackles
Speaking of interior decoration, the purchase of a carpet from Lowe is also a big mistake, especially if the carpet should obtain a lot of pedestrian traffic.
"Lowe's often uses cheaper synthetic materials to do many of their decoration pieces, so they will not be the most high quality or long -term," said Jeremy Yamaguchi ,, CEO of Love Love . Yamaguchi prefers at home, Hobby Lobby, Wayfair and even target for a best quality selection.

5 Small devices
People say that bigger is better, and when it comes to shopping at Lowe's, the declaration is true. Sophia Phillips , expert in lifestyle at Coupon birds , said you should always ignore small devices at LOWE because their selection is limited compared to other retailers.
"For example, the Programmable Multi-Cocroitre by De'Longhi Livenza costs $ 209 At Lowe but Only [$ 155] in Walmart Said Phillips. Instead, she suggests buying smaller items from retailers like Kohl's, Amazon and Macy.
6 Batteries
Ramhold and Phillips agree that you should not buy batteries at Lowe's.
"Again, the price is simply not as good as you find elsewhere," said Ramhold. "As a rule, you will find more reasonable prices in large -scale stores like Target, but even grocery stores can have more affordable prices than Lowe on things like batteries."
Phillips recommends shopping for batteries at Costco, where you will get a discount to buy them in bulk.

7 Grass
Whether you try to use less water or want to make a safe playground for your pet, you should avoid buying lawn at Lowe, said Michael Levy of Dirty lawn .
"If you plan to invest in an artificial lawn for your property, trust a local company deemed specialized in lawn with regard to purchase and installation," he advises. "Large store stores tend to transport a small selection of basic synthetic grass, but they will not have the variety of options necessary to meet your needs."
8 Food and drinks
Most Lowe stores have a selection of small snacks and bottled drinks near the register, but you should not satisfy your desires before leaving the store. "This is another article which is mainly there for more convenience and to respond to pulse buyers, so the prices are not great," explains Ramhold.
