The world has changed in many lasting ways since the start of the coco-19 cocovated pandemic in 2020. But while we could transport more potential symptoms , the fact that seasonal viruses are still spreading is no different today than never. The coronavirus has joined the list too familiar with the flu, the syncytial respiratory virus (RSV) and colds as potential dangers for public health. And now, the centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) warn that respiratory disease is quickly spreading in more than a dozen states.

The latest data consider patients who Make report to their doctor Or the emergency room with symptoms of respiratory disease, including fever with a cough or a sore throat. As of December 7, 16 states were listed as "high" or "very high" compared to normal conditions throughout the year, gaining scores of activity level of eight or more on a scale from one to 13 .

Unfortunately, the figures seem to have trendy in all cases in some cases. On December 8, the CDC said that positive tests for COVID-19 and the flu increased nationally, as well as emergency visits to the two diseases. Meanwhile, the same figures for RSV seem to have a flat line or decreased slightly compared to the previous week.

The last peak also occurs while the agency continues to follow a Variant covid-19 called jn.1 This currently represents 15 to 29% of all cases in the United States, according to an update on December 8. The branching of the Subvariant Omicron Ba. 2.86 was discovered for the first time in September and is now the country with the fastest growth. The CDC adds that the thrust indicates that it is more transmissible or better to escape the immune systems of the peoples, but there is no sign that viral ramification causes a more serious disease.

Some experts warn that current overvoltage could always be linked to a POST-PANDEMIC PUBLIC Sensitivity to viruses after deleting increased health precautions, citing a radical point last year. "This can take some time for viral levels and the dynamics of immunity to level," Karen Acker , MD, specialist in pediatric infectious diseases in New York - Presbyterian Komansky Children's Hospital, said Fortune . "This can be another bad year."

But while the latest figures can be a bit of a shock, The same precautions can always work to keep you healthy.

"All we hear about it is not a new virus or a new pathogen, these are the common things that we see each season that may come together," Philip Huang , MD, director of Dallas County Health and Human Services, told ABC News. "Preventive things are all the same, you know, stay at home if you are sick, wash your hands, touch your sleeve, don't rub your eyes, nose and mouth, you update on the Vaccinations. "
