"Dollar General tends to offer decent prices on products like Comet powder (21 ounces for $1), various types of Fabuloso (56 ounces for $4.50), toilet bowl cleaners (two bottles of Lysol 24-ounce wipes for $5), plus other things like 60-pack wet wipes for $1," says Julie Ramhold , consumer analyst with DealNews.com. "Again, you might be able to find better deals to some extent at the big box stores, but these aren't huge markups and these are branded products, so you should get an idea of how well they perform. rather than risk trying a store brand that may or may not be worth it.”
