Simon said hearing loss was sudden and unexplained.
In his interview with THE Sunday ( via The independent ), Simon said: "Suddenly, I lost most of the hearing in my left ear, and no one explained. So everything has become more difficult."
The way he manages the situation, he said: "My reaction to this was frustration and embarrassment; not yet completely anger, because I thought it would pass, he would repair himself." But, so far, this has not happened.
He has dealt with other health problems.
