According to the notice of recall of May 11, the company based in North Caroline Positc remembers the Blue Ridge utility knife with a six -inch retractable blade. If you bought one of these knives, take a look at the packaging and check if the tip of the blade has crossed. If it has, carefully remove the knife from the packaging, while avoiding the blade, advises CPSC opinion.

From there, you can throw the packaging and "secure the knife by retracting and locking the knife in a closed position", according to the managers. Once the knife is free from the packaging and retracted, it can be used as normal.
