STOP & SHOP is facing the criticism of a customer on a specific product. April 26, applicant Mark Schotte filed a collective appeal Against the Stop & Shop Supermarket Company, LLC at the Massachusetts District District Court. According to the costume, Schotte claims that the retailer falsely markets his store brand and always my brandy cleaning wipes for baby as "rinsed".

When Better life Tandoned to stop and shop on the new trial, a company spokesperson said that he "does not comment on active disputes".

The applicant claims that the retailer's wipes are not really fluffy.

Truck wipes act as an "alternative to hygienic paper", according to the trial. The rinse term is understood that they can be eliminated rinse in the toilet. "Consequently, reasonable consumers expect" Wipe "Wipe products to disperse in a short time after hunting explains the combination.

But Schotte claims that Stop & Shop wipes referenced in the case are not really able to quickly disintegrate in small pieces when rinsed. The trial stipulates that Stop & Shop would have engaged in a "widespread false and misleading advertisement" for some of its treadable laundry products. But each package also contains a less natable warning, warning that the wipes are not technically flush with all Systems. "No reasonable consumer would even notice that the warning, which is located on the underside of the packaging, in small printing, and is hidden by a tab which must be folded to see it," notes Schotte. Consequently, the applicant claims that this is a false declaration and that Stop & Shop violates consumer protection laws in Massachusetts.

Schotte says buyers pay more than they should.

Truck wipes are often more expensive for consumers than non -blurred wipes and traditional hygienic paper. In fact, the trial stipulates that Stop & Shop sells its "rinsed" wipes at a higher cost than its own non -fluse wipes. According to an example presented in the case, the perfume always my wipes for thick and soft baby sold by the retailer cost approximately 4 cents per paper Malie cleaning accumulating about 5 cents per wiping.

This means that buyers paid "at least 25% more for rinsed stop & shop wipes because of these complaints. "The bad labeling of wipes makes products without value," says Schotte in the case of collective recourse. "There is no value for consumers for allegedly" fluffy "wipes that are not really fucked up."
