The Joe trader salad recalled health problems, food security and the inspection service warns against

The agency claims that potentially dangerous items have been sold in stores in three states.


For many buyers, a trip to Trader Joe's is not more than simply store your cabinets and fridge. But now, the Food and Inspection Security Service (FSIS) of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) warns that Trader Joe's recalled that the salad has been sold in its stores. FSIS warns that there is a reminder on a salad article sold at Trader Joe's.

In an alert published on March 4, FSIS announced that Oregon GH Foods NW, LLC made a reminder for his trader salad Joe's Lemon Chicken & Raugula that he produces for the popular grocery chain. The affected ready-to-pantry product is sold in 9.2 ounce plastic packages and is printed with the GHNW 059-06 lot code and a "best date" date of March 6, 2023.

The agency reports that the article was sent to Trader Joe stores in Idaho, Oregon and Washington. In total, around 106 pounds of products are affected by the movement.

The agency warns that the article could contain ingredients potentially dangerous for certain people.

According to his opinion, the FSIS reports that the company has decided to withdraw the article from the shelves "due to erroneous and not declared allergens". The agency indicates that if the upper label of the product is correct, they have been packed with the ingredient label for the company's broccol salad salad and the curly cabbage salad with an item of chicken meat white. This means that the affected product does not lend customers it contains wheat, which is a known food allergen.

The agency says it first learned of the problem when the company informed them that it had discovered that products had been shipped in stores with the incorrect declaration of ingredient. Until now, there has been no report of medical problems or adverse effects of the consumption of the article.

FSIS says that customers in question can always have the Joe trader salad recalled in their refrigerators at home. As such, the agency advises anyone who bought the product so as not to eat it. Instead, they must be thrown or returned to the place of purchase for a refund.

Anyone who believes he has experienced a medical problem or illness to eat the reminded salad must immediately contact his doctor or health care provider. Customers with questions or concerns can also contact GH Foods NW by calling a hotline listed in the agency's reminder notice.

And on February 28, chocolates were again at the center of a reminder when Russell Stover announced that he was drawing some of his peanut cups without sugar he had distributed in large and detailed stores nationwide.
