Each body is unique, but some have something in common: the format. There are several body formats and know which one can help you make better decisions related to your health. What are the different shapes of the body

Many factors can determine your body type, such as genetics, lifestyle, age and sex. Some of the best known body formats are:

- Litter: Most rounded in the middle

- Hourglass: chest and proportional hips with a thinner medium

- Ruler: also known as rectangle, more or less straight on top and below

- Pear: fullest downstream

- Inverted triangle: shoulders and chest wider than waist and bottom

Litter

People with an apple -shaped body, for example, tend to carry more weight in the middle - and are therefore those with great risk of developing health problems. The risk is higher in these individuals because obesity in the abdomen region is one of the conditions that increases the risk of cardiovascular disease and development of type II diabetes. Even people who are not overweight (body mass index below 25) have higher risks of these diseases than people with smaller waistlines.

Hourglass

Having the body with the wrapping shape can facilitate weight gain without the person noting a lot, as fat tends to distribute in different areas instead of focusing on one region. This means that periodic weight follow -up is necessary to prevent the person from gaining excess mass without noticing, which considerably increases their risk to chronic diseases such as cardiovascular.

Ruler

People with a ruler -shaped body may have difficulty gaining weight. Women who are underweight are more likely to develop various health problems such as malnutrition, depression and menstruation and ovulation problems. It is important to note that this does not mean that there are no overweight individuals in this category.

Pear

Pear shape also increases the risk for conditions related to visceral fat when overweight. Individuals with obesity or overweight who have the pear body have greater risk of osteoarthritis in the joints of the hips and knees and varicose veins, as excessive weight in the lower limbs can put plenty of pressure on the legs.

Inverted triangle
