Governors Awards were a family affair.
Michael, Pollan and their four children attended the Academy of Governors of the Arts and Sciences of the Academy on Saturday, during which Michael was honored for his work in the advocacy and the search for Parkinson's disease with the humanitarian prize for Jean Hersholt. Michael received a condition diagnosis in 1991 and 2001. He founded the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, who has sinceraised more than a billion dollars. The family posed for photos together and could be seen in the audience during Michael's speech.
