Some shades will complete your hair and highlight your features in a major way.
After youdecide to become gray, a multitude of things change in your life. Suddenly, you have less living room meetings and spend much less money for hair maintenance. But some changes take a little more time to get used to it, especially if you have the same hair color for decades. One of the biggest is the colors of clothes that seem best to you. Although you may have been categorized like someone who looks incredible in light pink or olive green when you had colorful hair, you could find yourself attracted to other shades now that you are gray or silver . To help you sail in this change, we asked the stylists to describe the colors that look best for people with gray hair. No matter your color, there is a shade for you.

1 Blue
When you choose colors of clothing to wear with gray hair, avoid those that reflect the shade. "This tends to age you and will seem to drain the dynamism of your face," saidPatrick Kenger,,personal stylist in the pivot image.
Instead, "you want to reflect the other coloring on your face." For example, if you have blue or green eyes, Kenger notes that these colors will be particularly flattering because they will draw attention to your most vibrant features.
2 Brown
This rule is also true for those who have darker eyes.
"If you have a warmer eye color like brown or hazelnut, it is better to use colors to remove them instead of directly reflecting gray in your hair," explains Kenger.

3 coal
Fortunately, grays are not prohibited, but you will want to find the shade that best accentuates your features.
"When you choose to wear gray, try to make sure that it is not the same darkness or the same lightness of gray in your hair," explains Kenger. "If you have vibrant white hair, it is best not to wear a vibrant white shirt, and opt for a charcoal color."
It also works in the opposite direction: if your hair is dark gray, choose Heather gray clothes.
4 Red
No matter the color of the eyes or the shades, red always looks fabulous.
"Nothing is more striking than a woman with silver wicks disguised in red; she is such a beautiful combination," saysClare Holden, designer and stylist atsleepless night. "When you see a gray hair woman in a red sweater or a red dress, it's so elegant."

If it seems too austere, go in the opposite direction. "If you want to brighten up your look, lavender or a hot pink can really complete fresh shades," explains Holden.
6 Fuchsia
If you have hot shades, fill up with warm colors. "Think of Burgundy, Fuchsia, Bottle Green Deep," explains Holden. "They will all lift your complexion and your hair color for a higher look."
A matching lipstick will link everything.

7 Rose gold
In addition to the clothes, some jewelry tones work incredibly with gray. "We have found that pink gold is the best type of earring for gray hair; gray makes the pink subnsLexi Taubi, founder ofJewelry Alexis Jae.
