Product safety reminders are not uncommon.

A reminder has been issued for specific cleaning products of Pine-Sol and Clorox.
On October 25, the CPSC announced that Clorox had published a reminder on several of itsPin-Sol cleaning products. Affected items include multi-surface cleaner flavored in Sold-Sol in lavender-specific scents, sparkling waves and lemon; Cloroxpro Pine-Sol All Uptylers in clean energy scents, lavender, fresh lemon and orange; and Clorox Professional Pine-Sol Lemon Fresh Cleaners. Depending on the CPSC opinion, the products are sold in multiple size format bottles of 28, 48, 60, 100, 144 and 175 liquid ounces. Customers can identify the products recalled by checking the date code on the "A4" prefix label followed by a five -digit number less than 22249.

The CPSC opinion stipulates that Clorox issued the recall of Pin-Sol by "an abundance of prudence" because they can containPseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria.
