A few months after the shooting, Rickman wrote in an entrance on December 11: "Back to Harry P. The Great Hall withMaggie Smith,,Zoë Wanamaker,,Ian Hart,,Richard Harris—Everything in their soft and funny manners. "These distribution members played Professor McGonagall, Mrs. Hooch, Professor Quirrell and Albus Dumbledore, respectively. In this entry, Rickman added the directorChris Columbus, "Fortunately, Chris Columbus is also a soft and funny soul and you can see what he thinks, what he wants. I still don't think he's really An actor but he will undoubtedly direct / produce. And he has such a calm support and worthy of his parents. Nothing is pushed. "

Later, on April 12, 2006, he thought about the transformation that occurred when he entered his own character. "I realize that as soon as the ring and the Snape costume] continue - something happens. It becomes a stranger to be talkative, smiling, open. The character shrinks, tightens me," said Rickman. "No good qualities on a set. I have never been less communicative with a crew. Fortunately, Dan [Radcliffe] fulfills this role with ease and charm. And young people."

Two years later, on December 9, 2008, he entered lunch with Radcliffe, then adult. "Lunch W. Dan Radcliffe at Cafe Cluny," recalls the actor. "A minute, he was 12 years old now, he is 19 years old. When did it happen? And he is sensitive, articulated and intelligent. And has a three-bed APT in New York."

A dieHarry PotterThe decisive characteristics of the series are that he brought famous adult actors with relatively unknown artists. Admittedly, these established stars have thought of the work of their young colleagues, and now we have some of Rickman's opinions in black and white. He wrote on Hermione's actorEmma Watson Enunciation in an entry on the director of the third film,Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban,,Alfonso Cuarón.

"He is under the usualHp The pressure and even he begins to repeat cameras in front of the actors, and these children need to lead: "wrote Rickman." They do not know their lines and Emma's diction [Watson] is this side of Albania. ""

"Cold, humid, Draughty but the crew seems to be miles from afar then Ralph and I can just continue to go to the stage," wrote Rickman on November 25, 2009. "David stuck there like never on V [Oldemort] Killing me with a spell (impossible to understand, in particular the resulting anger of readers.) Large work with Ralph, however. Michael Gambon replaced Harris as Dumbledore after Harris' death after the second film. In March 2010, Rickman wrote on work with Gambon and the state of his health.

"TOHp To repeat with Michael Gambon. On the way to return to the trailer, Michael talks about his fear of learning / forgetting his lines, "wrote Rickman on March 8. He added on March 10:" Just me and Michael G. all day. He is vulnerable after his illness and the primer of yesterday was not a joke for him. The lines are a real problem for him. Technology helps and why not? It is never great when it is only a memory loss - no relaxation, no freedom, no contact. I would have boards and buses everywhere. And anyway, when he unleashes a little magnificence, it is without effort and bewitching. ""

Rickman wanted to move away from the series.

Apparently, if Rickman had had his way, we could have had aHarry PotterFranchise in which he was replaced as Snape by a different actor halfway. On December 4, 2002, the star wrote in his newspaper: "Speaking to [the agent]Paul Lyon-Maris onHp Going out, what he thinks will happen. But here we are again in the field of the collision project. ReiterateHp. They don't want to hear it. "It would have been after the second film,Harry Potter and the Chamber of SecretsAnd before the third,Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban.

Rickman does not explain in these extracts why he decided to stay on, but in a subsequent entry, after the first of the third film, he wrote with happiness thatAzkabanwas "a very adult film, so full of daring that it made me smile and smile."
