Diana Spencer and the love that the world still feeds for her.
These we are experiencing are undoubtedly days that will remain in history. Elizabeth II, Queen of England, the United Kingdom and all the countries of the Commonwealth was missing a few days ago in the summer residence of the Balmoral royal family, in Scotland. Yet, in the heart of the British and the world, even in these days of dismay and profound change, the memory and image of Lady D. continues to make space. We cannot fail to think about her by retracing the life of the Queen and is practically Impossible not to address a thought thinking of Camilla Parker Bowles as a queen consort of the now king Charles III. Lady Diana is undoubtedly the most loved princess in recent history because she has been able to revolutionize the role of her within the royal family, approaching ordinary people like no other member of the Royal Family had dared to do before her.
Diana's popularity
Diana has always liked public opinion, but even more after her divorce from King Carlo. The simple and strong character of her, the being of her at the same time fragile and determined, the unconditional love for William and Harry made her one of the most loved princesses of all time. She certainly revolutionized her life in Buckingham Palace. She was the first princess to share her worldwide wedding: a ceremony with 2000 guests and 750 million viewers. She was the first, as far as it was possible, to organize the princess commitments by subordinating them to those of her mother and the only one, for now, to show herself in public with all her spontaneity and humanity of her. If the social media had been at the time, she would have been the undisputed queen.
The separation from Carlo
After a fairytale ceremony and a wedding not exactly from "they lived happy and happy", on 9 December 1992 the separation from Carlo was made official and, exactly one year later, Diana announced her retreat from public life. The actual divorce, however, was there only in 1995, a month after the famous interview by Martin Bashir, broadcast by the BBC, during which the princess revealed her relationship with Major James Hewitt, of her riding instructor of she. A few weeks after the interview, Buckingham Palace made it known that Queen Elizabeth had sent a letter to the Prince and Princess of Wales where they demanded their divorce. The then Prince Charles formally accepted with a written declaration.
First time in the history of the crown
Diana was the protagonist of aunicum regarding the title of her and the treatment of her within the royal family. After the divorce from Charles she, in fact, she lost the title of real height, but she kept that of Princess of Wales. In this way she remained the official member of the Windsor family because she mother of a future heir to the throne of England, which has never happened first in the history of the British crown.
Authentic and altruistic
There is a reason why, unlike all the other members of the royal family, Lady Diana has entered the hearts of the British and has conquered the positive opinion of the world public opinion: the way of being of her. The thousand impositions of the crown for protocols and labels did not prevent her from showing the way she is, more true and authentic. She in public she showed herself exactly for what she was her: altruistic, generous, empathetic. In her numerous humanitarian trips of her, she met and collaborated with Mother Teresa of Calcutta, she visited schools of the most disadvantaged suburbs, orphanages, pediatric wards and AIDS patients. She walked in a mined field in Angola. She used her privileged position of her to help the less fortunate and make the world look at her.
Style icon
Diana has always had a passion for fashion and particular clothes, but the stringent impositions of the royal label have not been helpful. The clothes you have worn on some official occasions are still a source of inspiration for many of her despite the fact that in the immediate time of her they have often created some problems for her. Just to name a few, do you remember the overwhelming Dress? It is the fabulous blue velvet siren dress by Victor Edelstein that Lady D wore the White House in 1985, dancing with John Travolta. Or the famous Revenge Dress? The black, adherent, short and climbed dress worn by the princess at the party organized byVanity Fair Just the evening when the then Prince Charles had confessed to his betrayal trying to regain public opinion. In that dress of her Diana was so fabulous that the next day there was only room for her in the newspapers.
