These old television stars were forced to "too sexual" scenes

Schneider started as a young actor himself in the 1980s, but was more successful by working behind the scenes, especially in comedy for children. According to a 2021New York TimesSchneider profile, which had disappeared from television for some time after years to develop new hot shows for children, Nickelodeon decided in 2018 not to extend their contract with him following an internal investigation into his behavior of the Mother company Viacomcbs. According to the article, the investigation "revealed that, alongside the many colleagues who praised the attention of [Schneider] to the details and to work ethics, many people with whom he worked considered it abusive verbally". The writer and the producer have not released new work since the network broke his relationship, although he said toTimethat he worked on a new pilot for an adult audience.

However, many of those who worked with Schneider claim that the verbal violence of his colleagues was not the only problem.

Young stars have interpreted "sexualized" scenes on their shows.

All Schneider's shows, in the tradition of many nickelodeon comedies over the years, presented the kind of physical humor and slapstick which will always be popular with children. However, some of his colleagues said they had found that some gags were inappropriate and stressed that these suggestive scenes often involved women's stars in his series.

Alexa Nikolas, who was in the distribution ofZoey 101, recalled a scene in which liquid candies explode in front of the starJamie Lynn Spears, that she said that Schneider wanted to film again and again. "We are talking about a minor," said the former child actor. "I think Jamie was 13 years old, and they squirt on her face to make him appear in a certain way."

Insider note that the more questionable content can be found in the discharge of the web series ofVictorious, a large part involved in whichAriana Grande(Above right), who played Cat in the series and with whom Schneider would have stayed close. The point of sale reports that "two writers have declared that Schneider was almost singularly responsible for this online content, which, according to them, could sometimes be inappropriate, in particular at the start of the seasons ofVictorious When the large sketches were filmed. Daniella Monet, who also appeared onVictorious, said that she thought that one of her scenes was so above the line that she had asked for. This involved his Trina character eating a pickle and applying a lip brilliance. The network was obviously disagreement with it, and the scene was broadcast.

"Do I want certain things not to be so sexualized?" The actor said. "Yeah. A hundred percent."

The actor also said that she believed that some of the clothes that young members of the program distribution had been invited to wear were "not being adapted to age". Two additional sources said to inside that Schneider had approved the whole wardrobe and that he had sometimes pushed nickelodeon when the network wanted the actors to be more covered.

However, Monet said that many more people in addition to Schneider were responsible for these so -called missteps, other writers (initiate notes were mainly men on Schneider's programs) in the Nickelodeon standards and practices department.

Former president of content and production of Nickelodeon,Russell Hicks, made a statement to the initiate who reads, in part, "all that Dan has never done on one of his shows was carefully examined and approved". He also said that the parents and guards of the performers were still present on the set. Schneider himself has not yet commented on the report.
