Nearly 20,000 pounds of pizza have been recalled, the USDA announced.


There is no shame: a basic meal in houses across the country is a good old ''Frozen pizza. These pies are great in the pinch if you need a last -minute dinner, or something fast and easy to heat when children are hungry after school. We all have our favorite crusts, toppings and styles, and you probably have a favorite brand that you take to the grocery store. But the United States Food and Inspection Safety Service (FSIS) has just been a warning on a brand that you will want to stay away. Frozen pizzas seem to be examined, as the FSIS announced on July 15 thatReady Dough Pizza Inc., from Hialeah, in Florida, had recalled varieties of frozen Cuban style pizza articles produced between January 12, 2022 and July 13, 2022. The products lacked from the USDA inspection brand and had either Incorrect ingredient labels, not at all, the agency said.AE0FCC31AE342FD3A1346EBB1F342FCB

On July 21, the FSIS then expanded the recall to include additional pizza products - bearing the total to three - and noted that some had also been shipped to retail places in Delaware and Pennsylvania, after the 'Initial opinion indicated that the products had been shipped to Florida in Florida in Florida.

The total adjusted weight has been reduced by 10,584 pounds to 6,595 pounds, affecting 14 ounce box packages containing "Pizza Cubana Cubana Pepperoni Pizza" and packages of 13 ounce boxes containing "pizza cubana style ham pizza" and "Cubana Cubana Style Cuban Style Bacon Style Pizza."

Now another variety of frozen pizza products is recalled - which means you want to check your freezer again.

If you like different types of meat on your pizza, make sure you don't buy these pies.

July 28,About 19,275 pounds Condeled meat pizza products have been recalled, this time by Danny's Sub and Pizza, based in Cape Coral, Florida. The retailer, who does business as a Cuban pizza from Danny, recalled the products, the FSIS issuing a high class 1 security alert to the public.

In total, four pizza products were recalled, which were all frozen, wrapped in withdrawal and 14 ounces of weight. The recall includes Danny's Cuban Pizza Authentic Cuban Pupperoni Style Pepperoni, Danny's Cuban Pizza Authentic Cuban Cha, Danny's Cuban Pizza Authentic Cuban Hawaiian Style, and Danny's Cuban Pizza Authentic Cuban Ham. None of the products have many code, packaging dates or other identification information on their respective labels, said the FSIS.

The frozen pizzas have not been properly inspected.

According to the announcement of recall, like pizza products ready for dough, Danny Cuban pizza products were "produced in an establishment that was not inspected by the USDA", and also had No USDA inspection sticker. Recalled pizzas were produced between January 2020 and July 2022.

Take a look at your freezer if you live in Texas or Florida, because Danny Cuban pizzas have been sent to the retailers of the two states. There was no report of adverse reactions linked to pizzas, confirmed the FSIS, but you will always want to avoid bursting these frozen pies in the oven.

"FSIS fears that certain products are in consumer freezers," said the reminder announcement. "Consumers who bought these products are invited not to consume them."
