Actress Klara Castanho confirms pregnancy rumors and says she suffered abuse

Actress Klara Brown has a child due to abuse. She understands the case.


On June 25, Saturday, actress Klara Castanho clarified rumors that were circulating on social networks, surprising fans and the artistic community. She made a post explaining that she delivered a child to adopt after completing a pregnancy, and that the baby was the result of a rape she suffered.

The story gained greater repercussion after journalist Leo Dias commented on the possibility of pregnancy in a participation in SBT's The Night with Danilo Gentili. However, the suspicion is that the leakage of the information was done by a nurse in the hospital where Klara gave birth. Read below the 21 -year -old actress pronouncement on social networks.

“This is the hardest account of my life. I thought I would carry this pain and this weight only with me. I have always kept my private affective life, so exposing it in this way is something that terrifies me and striking deep and recent pain. However, I cannot silence by seeing people conspiring and creating versions of repulsive violence and trauma I suffered. I've been raped".

Klara continues to say that something died inside her when the crime happened, and that she was completely alone. According to the open letter, she felt guilty and shame, did not have a police report, and only managed to do some exams and take the next day pill.

“Months later, I started to get sick, to have discomfort. […] I was informed that I generated a fetus in my womb. Yes, I was almost at the end of pregnancy when I learned. ” She also said she had not gained weight, that the menstrual cycle had not changed.

Even though she warned the doctor that she had been raped, he forced her to "hear the child's heart, she said 50% of the DNA was mine and that I would be forced to love him." The actress said this was one of the numerous violence she suffered, and that the moment of delivery was just a few days after finding she was pregnant. She also states that, with the help of a lawyer, she decided to make a direct delivery to adoption, going through all the mandatory stages, such as psychologist, prosecutor, judge and audience.

The whole process ensures confidentiality for both the mother and the child. However, in the postpartum, Klara said a nurse approached her, asking questions and threatening, "Imagine if such a columnist discovers this story." Moments later, she received messages from the columnist with all the information. “He just didn't know about rape,” says Klara.

“I talked to him, explained everything that had happened to me. He promised not to publish, ”she explains. She also says that days later another columnist came to her, and she spoke to him.

With the news becoming public through the rumors, Klara decided to explain everything so that the wrong information does not lose.

Speculation

The journalist speculation began on May 24, with a post by Matheus Baldi saying that Klara had given birth to a child. At her request, the post was erased. A month later, on Thursday (23), host Antonia Fontenelle said in a live that a 21 -year -old actress would have gotten pregnant and delivers the baby to adopt.

Hospital denies access to medical records

And this Monday (4), the Regional Nursing Council (Coren) of São Paulo said he could not access the birth medical record of childbirth. According to the Brazil Hospital, it is necessary a prior authorization of the patient, as provided for in resolutions of the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) and the Code of Ethics of Nursing Professionals.

Coren-SP was investigating the health unit accused of leaking the actress's personal information, and the case has also been investigated by the prosecutor. The council also made itself available to Klara Brown to, if she wants to continue the investigation. With the victim's endorsement, they will be able to access the medical record and investigate the conduct of nursing professionals who attended it.
