We would like to assume that the drugs we take are safe, but unfortunately, this is not always the case. In this spirit, it is important to follow the latest recall opinions published by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

This month, two holistic remedies were withdrawn, according to the press releases published on the FDA website. June 7, Buzzagogo Inc.recalled a lot From its allergic bee has disappeared for children from the nasal swab remedy due to potential microbial contamination. FDA tests found that the product had high levels of yeast and mold, and said it could also contain bacteriaBacillus cereus, which is particularly dangerous for immunocompromised individuals.

Then on June 9, Green Pharmaceuticals Inc.recalled a lot From his Nasospray of Snorestop, also for potential microbial contamination. This product potentially contained bacteriaProvidencia Rettgeri, which is once again in danger for immunocompromised people.

Now the CPSC has published several warnings on a much more popular over -the -counter pain medication that you most likely have at home.

When we have a pain that will not disappear, many of us have a favorite option to which we hang on: Tylenol, Advil, Motrin or Bayer. There are also generic versions of these over -the -counter drugs, often sold under the name of the store - and if you generally turn to these cheaper options, you will want to know a reminder affecting the pain medicines of the store brand sold at Walgreens and Kroger.

On June 16, the CPSC published three different recall announcements for acetaminophen, the analgesic that you probably know by its most common, Tylenol brand. Two manufacturers of the Acetaminophen Kroger brand, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries and Aurohealth, have bothdrawn 34,600 units and25,660 units, respectively. Aurohealth is also responsible for the acetaminophen of the Walgreens brand, and isTake 137,300 units.AE0FCC31AE342FD3A1346EBB1F342FCB

According to the versions of the CPSC, all of these over -the -counter drugs were recalled due to the packaging. Acetaminophen must be sold in children's resistant packaging according to the Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA) poison. "The packaging of the products is not resistant to children, posing a risk of poisoning if the content is swallowed by young children," explains the CPSC.

The drug can be extremely dangerous in bad hands.

Although acetaminophen is a very common drug that many of us take somewhat regularly, it is not without our dangers, which is why the PPPA requires packaging that makes these bottles more difficult to open. Research has shown that acetaminophen can causeSerious liver damage, with doctors warning that high doses of acetaminophen - like those found in additional tylenol - can lead to "serious damage". This danger is even more reinforced in children, children's resistant packaging, is designed to prevent extinguishing it.

Adults often find themselves in difficulty because they unconscioustake several drugs which contain acetaminophen, as explained by the experts of the UCI Health. But children who enter an ill -sealed bottle of these pain relievers can easily overdose, which makes the additional precaution of the more important children's resistant packaging.

Fortunately, no injury has been reported linked to one of the bottles recalled by acetaminophen.

Here's how to know if you have the drugs recalled at home and what to do.
