Reminders hit Home Depot and Lowe's this year.
Unfortunately, these are not the first reminders for Home Depot or Lowe's in 2022. In March, Danby Products recalled certain authorities and slipperyElectric and gas ranges sold at Home Depot because of their switching potential and provokingburn injuries.

The most recent recall, however, has involved that someone is injured.
An essential kitchen device is subject to a new reminder.
Home Depot and Lowe's are essential spots when you need a new refrigerator, but if you have bought a particular model recently, there is a new important warning to know. According to an announcement of June 2 of the CPSC,Electrolux fridge and refrigerators have been recalled due to a risk of suffocation.
About 367,500 of these refrigerators were sold in the United States in Lowe's stores, Home Depot and Appliance Nationwide, as well as in line on Frigidaire.com. The household appliances were sold between April 2020 and March 2022, selling between $ 1,200 and $ 4,300. In addition, 7,180 refrigerators were sold in Canada.

The problem has to do with the ice creator.
The recall is linked to the ice manufacturer in the freezer compartment. According to the CPSC, the ice level detector arm can detach and break into pieces, which then fall into the ice bucket and create a risk of suffocation.
The officials asked consumers to empty the ice bucket and stop using these ice manufacturers immediately, because there were already 185 reports of ice level detectors that break on their refrigerators. A report also noted gum lacerations as an injury.
"The safety of our consumers is a very serious and important question and we do not take this lightly",recall page said. "Electrolux led this reminder voluntarily as part of the CPSC accelerated recall process to quickly announce the remedy to protect consumers."
Here's how to check if your refrigerator has been recalled.
The affected models vary between 23 and 36 inches and were available in stainless, white and black steel. These models include 11 models of fridge side refrigerator, a top freezer model of fridge and a French fridge door model. To check if your refrigerator is part of the recall, you can find the brand name, model and serial number on the right panel inside the refrigerator compartment. You can then go to the Electrolux reminder page andEnter the model number and serial number. If your model is part of the recall, the website will invite you to order a free replacement part.
The company will also plan a technician to come to your home and replace your ice creator for free, said the CPSC announcement. The new ice creator will have a polypropylene ice level detector.
