Walmart draws this product from the shelves after a major backlash

The Juneteenth ice cream had swirled red velvet flavors and cheese cake, and Twitter was flooded with opinions on the controversial product. Several users have said that Walmart capitalized on the holidays in order to make a profit.

Addressing this, other tweets have called the similarity of the flavor with that of Creamalicious, an ice cream company belonging to blacks in Chicago. To further complicate things, Creamalicious sells hisRight like red velvet cheesecake of the rain Ice cream flavored in Walmart locations,USA todayreported. Twitter users took advantage of this opportunity to promote the brand's ice cream, asking buyers to support Creamalicious instead.

"In All Seriousness… if you have seen the juneteenth ice cream from walmart, Go ahead and Gob Some Creamalicious Red Velvet Cheesecake Intead! Walmart Could Have used this opportunity to highlight this brand Instread of Making Copycat for Our Independence Day,"Another Twitter User wrote.

This is not the only walmart ice cream product people have criticized.

Also for Sale at Walmart is lgbtqia+ pride-themed ice cream, which is a mix of white chocolate-flavored Ice cream, brownies, and dearries. Twitter users are not thrulled about this branding eith.

"So… they didn't stop at a juneteenth flavor,"Stephanie M. Smith, Maryland State Delegate Tweeted, Adding thatCommemorative Flavors SHOULD BE LEFT TO The Popular Ice Cream Brand Ben & Jerry's, Which WOULD Have A "Call to Action" and A "Focus Grouped Flavor."

The Ice Cream was another celebration edition product introduced forPride Month in June , which honors the riots of Stonewall of 1969 and celebrates the rights LGBTQIA +. While many think that an ice cream flavor may not be the best wink in pride, no official announcement has been made to find out if this "festive" flavor will remain or not available purchase.
