Your iMDB page has this little absurd trivia: "He played in two films on intimidal teenagers with abusive parents who earn tenekinetic powers and continue on crawling:the Chronicle (2012) andCarrie(2013). "Did you have worked to be typed as a person who spotted adolescent adolescents with abusive parents who earn teleclical powers and continue to ramps?
I can not tell you how many telekinesis films that I had to refuse. [Laughs] No, I'm not worried about it at all. But I was certainly aware of the irony that the next movie I did afterthe Chronicle wasCarrie. It was strange and interesting to deal with this subject again. The second time, I was jealous because I did not have the powers.Chloë Grace Moretz Marked all powers. But I would like to be involved in all projects like that. All that is fantastic and exterior of the box but managed to maintain a base. Who would not want to be involved in something like that?
You are a guy occupied these days.
We have just finished shooting [TO CRUSH. In addition, I am post-production on a short film with my brother who is in Australia. It was a little crazy.
It's a difficult time difference.
This is a big part of that. It is 17 years old or 18 hours to come. It's going to be 7 m. For me and 1 pm. For him. It's certainly interesting. We co-directed the film. This makes it more difficult because we both have to sign everything. Next time, it could produce and I could lead, or vice versa. We swore never to coordinate if we can not be in the same place at the same time.
What is the court?
It's calledBe okay, which is a famoquialism that essentially means appearing prepared and respectful. This is a simple young man who goes to a fancy and self-indulgent cocktail lounge and orders Bundaberg Rum. It is a small border drink in a high-end establishment. The bartender strikes it, but the main character challenges it to a cocktail. The whole thing is this ridiculous and stupid comedy on these guys from these guys in the world of mixology.
What were you doing today forTO CRUSH?
We were shooting in the studio. We do a lot of things on the spot in the show, which is fun to do and do with the level of authenticity, but all at the SWAT headquarters is on the sound stage. There was not too much action today, but the days are always packed. The show is so ambitious.
How is the rhythm of a show likeTO CRUSHDifferent from a studio movie?
I made studio movies whereDeckker Roger Take eight years will align a shot. Then you see it and it's like the Sistine chapel on the screen. And I did the fastest and most independent grocery. We did one this year calledBrampton that we shot eight days. It's just crazy. WithTO CRUSH, the money is there to get a certain level of production value, but it is always difficult to believe every day. There is no relaxation. It's tight.
You have a Scotol to do most of the works, but what is the most ambitious thing you've done?
The other day, we had an episode where my character leads to a situation where we know there is bad guy. We are digging in the dodger loader. I drive. The scene plays that the bad guys take off, I whips the car, skid, slippery, drift, hides around this corner. I watched it happens with cascade pilots. They drifted and do all these crazy things with cameras outside the car. Then they had to get into the car. They put three cameras on the car and putShemar Moore, the show star, in the passenger seat. They told me not to drift, just to get up and go on. But when I did it, I lost some traction. It was great. I thought, "I" love me that this dodger loader with over a million dollars of camera equipment on it and the star of the show next to me. Fortunately, we have our seat belts. "
Why did you start acting?
When I was a child, I was the big child. I was not popular. I was chosen at school. I did not have a good time. My favorite time of the week was Friday night. We would have got McDonald's. It was the treatment of the family. I would go to easy video, which was our video shop and I would choose something. It was my favorite favorite thing. It's always today. I go to the Arclight and see movies. I love them so much to look, and I think it translates into some of them.
Tips for surviving in the Australian Outback?
The first thing I would say is, it's not taking any advice from Alex Russell. But if you are going to take advice from Alex Russell, get away: do not drink the last of your water, then eat a packet of salt and vinegar chips, then realize that you are lost.
A real story?
It was not technically in the outback, but I went to visit one of my best friends on his parents' ranch. He wanted to take me to see this waterfall. We drove this mountain, on this road of land and in the jungle for a while. Then we went out and started walking. We walk and walk and walk. He continued to tell me that the waterfall was near. We continued to walk. We finally arrived at what he called the waterfall, but there was no water there. We sat down and chat a little. Then we started walking. My friend is a break, looked at the future, looked at the way we came and looked around. I asked him if we were lost. He said yeah. He did not know where we were. We had just finished our water and eat tokens. I had this terrible taste in my mouth and all I wanted was water. We have been lost for four hours. It was scary.
Rings the kinematics. You should have brought a camera.
We should have. A real missed opportunity.
