Its tasty bouquet is not the only reason for its insane price tag.

Known as the "Holy Grail of whiskey" that macallan worth its weight in gold for a number of reasons.
First: this is extremely rare. Only 12 bottles of this were produced and it is not known how many of them are still in the world. Second: it is a real vintage, having been distilled in 1926 and bottled in 1986.
But what makes it particularly unique is his work. Back in the day, the company has commissioned renowned pop pop artistsValerio adami andPeter Blake To design the labels for the exclusive limited collection.
Twelve bottles were illustrated by Blake, while the other two were conducted by Adami.
Since Adami was an Italian painter who is still revered for his highly stylized pieces, the label of the bottle is literally priceless artwork. Unfortunately, it probably means that you prefer to keep the bottle in a glass case and mount it on your chimney that sip it on a special occasion, as many people believe a kind of defeat the purpose of the whiskey.
