It turns out, the theme was created by American ComposerGeorge Bruns, who is responsible for the scores of the above-mentioned Disney Classics, among many others. As he died in 1983, Bruns was appointed a DISney legend in 2001, in order to commemorate his amazing contribution to Disney's magical world.
And although some can argue that it's a little lazy to recycle the same melody still and again, those of us who have grown up with these Disney films know that there is no better way to express the sentence that these descending chains.
