The experts now say that anyone in possession of this particular device should cease to use it immediately. Read it to find out if your fan is affected and you should do to protect yourself.

A popular pocket fan sold in Rite Aid is reminding.
On 21 July, the Consumer Products Safety Board (CPCC) announced that Rite Aid recalled about 9,780Rechargeable pocket fans.
The affected fans were sold exclusively in Status Rite help stores between 2021 and 20 June 2021 and for about $ 10. Fans, who weigh about 8.8 oz., Have been sold in blue, pink and purple. They can be identified by item number 9050103 printed on their box and on a sticker affixed to the fan.

The fan can overheat, as a risk of potential fire.
Fans were drawn from the market after discovering that their lithium batteries can overheat during the load, having a fire hazard.
Although no injury has been reported on the recall date, Rite AID has received two fans reports emitting smoke.
If you bought the recalled fans, do not use them.

Rite AID first declared to customers to stop using the fans per month before the CPSC announcement.
Although the reminder was announced only through the CPSP in July, Rite AID has warned its customers against the use of fans for more than a month. On June 18, Rite Aid first mentioned the pocket fans being recall, informing the customers they could potentially overheat and urge them to "throw them immediately".
