This is the safest way to wash the products

Embrace dirt and dirt goodbye with this tip of washing products.

When your mother told you to eat your vegetables, she does not joke. The products provide a wealth of vitamins, minerals and essential antioxidants that you would be in a hurry to find in other foods. The only drawback? If you eat traditionally grown fruits and vegetables, you potentially ingest a crowd of pesticides. If you opt for organic, you will get all this grain of ground grain. You could even rest on creatures too.

Fortunately, it does not mean every apple or carrot you dig to put your health in danger. In fact, there is an easy way to reduce the number of contaminants on the surface of your products. Better yet, everything you need is an element that you probably already have in your kitchen cabinets.

According to a 2017 study published in theAgricultural Chemistry and Food Journal, the key to washing your products safely and efficiently is baking soda. Surprisingly, researchers found that a soda bicarbonate solution was more effective in eliminating pesticide residues from the apple than tap water or a solution containing bleach.

In the study, it took 10 to 15 minutes of soaking products in a solution of 10 milligrams per milliliter of baking soda and water to eliminate thiabendendazole and the common phostitude, a fungicide and a common pesticide, respectively. However, if you end up somewhere without a box of baking soda within reach, it does not necessarily mean that you will get a pesticide bite, either.

A study published in the December 2015 volume ofSurveillance and Environmental AssessmentI found that a complete rinse in the traditional tap water was effective in eliminating a large proportion of pesticide residue on gross strawberries.
