It's the age when married men are most likely to cheat
Science says that men who are this age have the highest infidelity rate. The answer could surprise you.

A vast study published inAarp The magazine found that 46% ofMen reported cheating on their partners in the past, compared to 21% of women. Another report from the Institute of Family Studies (IFS) revealed that in marriages specifically ontwice as many men cheat. By using data from their 2017 general social survey, the IFS found that 20% of men and 13% of women say they havehad sex with someone other than their spouse. But later, among those from 50 to 69, about 24% of men cheat, compared to 16% of women. After that, during the 70 to 79 years, 13% of women cheat, while 26% of men cheat. It is interesting to note that the number remains relatively high for men in recent years. 24% of men aged 80 or more reports have cheated while only 6% of women say the same thing. On the basis of the data, women report the highest rate of infidelity in their 60, but the rate decreases sharply in their 70s and 80s.
Historical data suggest that men have always beenmore likely to cheat. But in the 1990s, the rate of infidelity culminated in men in their fifties. During this decade, older men were less likely to cheat than those aged of middle age. Then, in the 2000s, the highest infidelity rate has moved to men in the 1960s. Now it seems that it has once again climbed.
