According to the CDC, unvaccinated individuals should always wear their masks at any time. "You stay at risk of light or severe disease, death, or spreading the disease to others. You still have to hide and you should be vaccinated right away," Walensky said.

If you develop COVID symptoms, you must also "put your mask on and be tested immediately," said Walensky. After all, the CDC states that even fully vaccinated vaccinated people can have and spread the coronavirus, although the probability of this event is very small.
