If you live in these states, prepare more than this deadly spider, say experts

Arachnophobes Beware: These spiders could go to an area near you.

There are tons of things to love about the summer, spending time at the beach with family and friends to barbecue in the yard. Unfortunately, with the hot weather tends to come up a rise in outdoor pests, garter snakes in your garden in cicadas in your backyard.

And while the vast majority of insects, reptiles and other small creatures you encounter during the summer are relatively survean, there is a noticeable exception to this rule: Brown recluse spider. Venified arachnids, whose bites can causeTissue necrosis-And, in extremely rare cases, can be fatalIn particular in children, have been particularly active in two states this summer due to the high thermal temperature.

Spiders are now a current view in bothIllinois and Missouri,Jay Everitt from Rottler Pest Solutions explained to kmov.com.

"They love these calm places from our houses. The closets, the basements, the granaries," said Everitt. However, when temperatures exceed a certain point and attic temperatures become too hot, "[spiders] are starting to look for a colder environment and a lot of time that is the living space."

However, Illinois and Missouri are far from the only states where you can find this venomous arachnid. According to the search published in theJournal of Medical Entomology (JME), the spider is easilyfound throughout the US.* Read it to find out if this venimous spider calls your state at home.

* Delaware has not been represented in the study data.
