It is not secret that the App Store on your phone is literally bursting with fitness and health applications. There aremeditation applications, coaching applications, anti stress applications,Hiit timers, weightloss applications,to sleep Trackers, pedometer applications, applications that link hyper-obsessive operating communities and cycling, and even applications devoted to motivation specifications and pumping speeches.

Some are better than others, of course, and if you are looking to make significant changes to your life, this may feel intimidating scrolling through them to understand the one that suits you. (For what it's worth it - and calls me a traditionalist, but I swear by the good oldJ & J official 7 minute training. For more information on the man who created it,see here.)

However, if your main goal is to slim significantly, a popular coach says you can do a far worse than download a specific application. After all, he claims that he helped him abandon an amazing 100 pounds.

Jackson Desjardins is a YouTuber with more than 43,000 subscribers who follow his constant flow of practical life tips, fitness advice and tangible personal positivity tips almost entirely rooted in his own weight loss experience. In a recent video,He explains how he used myfithnesspal as an essential element of his own body transformation.

Desjardins is a firm believer you need to be a caloric deficit to significantly reduce. This means of course you have to eat less than you burn every day, which is something that is easier if you are dedicated to follow in reality what you eat.

In the video, he explains how he uses the application to follow his goals.

"If you are new on your fitness course, I recommend you track your calories," he says. "It really becomes hairy if you try to follow all your macros. I only follow my calories and my proteins, because I try not to become too obsessive."

Before doing so, it recommends using a total daily energy expense calculator (TDEE) to determine exactly how much you should eat every day. "If you want to lose weight, subtract 500 calories from this number," he says.

Then, "You will want to plan everything you are going to eat," he says. "I like planning a whole day to eat in advance for me to know what I'm shooting and there is no gray area."

It also recommends that you buy a food balance so you can be much more accurate on your numbers. "Your calorie consumption for the day should be treated as a financial budget," he says. "So how much do you have in your budget, now what are you going to spend your budget throughout the day? I like to make an example of day because it takes the mental tension to wonder what I will eat for the day. "
