Music helps to overcome mental exhaustion

For the first time, researchers decided to investigate the effect of listening to the music on endurance and the mentally tired functioning capacity. After completing a 30-minute mental test, participants who listened to a reading list of their choice were able to run at the same level as when they were mentally fresh. Here's how they did their research

Two operating tasks assigned to two distinct groups of runners were used to reach these conclusions. The first subsection, a collection of nine "physically active exercisers", has completed an interval execution capacity task three times: once without music (and no prior test intended to cause mental exhaustion) Who served as a basis once after finishing the test while listening to music and once after finishing the test without music. For reference, "interval execution capacity" refers to an alternation of an intense execution and a quieter version of jogging.

The research team helped participants establish a reading list for the study by asking each person to name and write some of their favorite motivational songs. Specifically, for every topic of song, rhythm, style, tempo and melody, as well as the sound and the beat of music.
